Welcome to the North Fork!
For those of you who are going to make a weekend trip out of the wedding or as a part of a longer trip from the U.K. and Ireland, we've gathered some resources for you
Greenport, NY
The wedding party will be staying in Greenport, one of the towns on the North Fork. We have suggested several hotels, B&Bs, and rentals along the North Fork to guests, and the Hamptons is an option as well.
Greenport is farther up the North Fork so about a 25-50 minute drive to the venue, a wide range due to the heavy traffic that can pop up here in the summer.

We will be providing shuttles from areas guests are staying in to the venue, stay tuned for details.
Getting around
See above about horrendous traffic at times. If you are staying near town and wish to only see restaurants, bars, beaches, and laying by the pool, you don't necessarily need a car. If you want to travel to the vineyards and farms, some transportation is required.

Don't take local cabs/taxis UNLESS you have settled an exact fare (that is reasonable) beforehand

Do check Uber - Uber is new to this area as of July 2017, but it worked well for us.

Do consider biking - Some of the distances you might need to travel to town, etc. are either a long walk or a short bike ride!
